Reality Based Self-Defense and Fitness
Class Information
Warm up: Approximately 20 minutes, consisting of modern and effective exercises that combine core strengthening with cardio training to provide the ultimate workout. Utilized by champion athletes, specialized law enforcement, elite military units, and mixed martial artists. Will improve stamina, power, coordination, and speed.
Kicking and punching drills: Approximately 20 minutes, consisting of fundamentals and combative techniques.
Self-Defense techniques: Approximately 20 minutes, consisting of a review of previous techniques and up to two new self-defense, weapon defense, and/or soft techniques.
Warm up: Approximately 15 minutes, consisting of modern and effective exercises that are specific to the Jiu- Jitsu practitioner that will improve Jiu-Jitsu skills.
Combative Techniques: Approximately 45 minutes, consisting of a review of previous techniques and up to two new techniques. Instruction will include an introduction, demonstrations, and drills.
Reflex Development/Fight Simulation Drills: Approximately 15 - 30 minutes. The order of progression is to learn individual techniques; drill scripted reflex development drills, using techniques learned; drill scripted fight simulation drills, using techniques learned; and eventually participate in fight simulation drills, not scritped, using the simple, most likely 36 essential techniques to maximize your efficiency while using the least amount of effort on a larger unskilled opponent.
Payment for private and semi-private lessons are due at the time of scheduling. Cancellations must be made by calling and leaving a message at 732 620-2311. Missed lessons may be rescheduled for another time that week if rescheduling permits.
Students must be at least 14 years of age.
Everyone who wants to learn is always welcome.
Everyone will be treated with respect.
Each student is taught based on their individual abilities.
Strengths will be made stronger and under developed areas will be strengthened.
No one gets hurt. Aggressive behavior shows a lack of respect for your training partners, and a lack of willingness to properly control and execute a technique.
Overly aggressive individuals will be asked to leave.
There are no secret tricks. Anyone can become proficient. Determination and dedication are a must. You must want to do this and have the discipline to train. I can show you how to do it; but, only you can do it.
Keep in mind everyone looses. Someone who quits never gets better.

Cup/groin protector
Mouth piece
Eye protection
Weapons - Sticks, knives,
handgun, long gun, and other
miscellaneous equipment.
